We are pleased to announce our new Morning Shinny Referral Reward Program.  All Shinny USA participants are eligible to participate in this new program.  Under the Referral Reward Program, current Shinny USA participants will be rewarded with a $50 credit for every Eligible New Participant who enrolls in and pays their full fee for one of our Morning Shinny seasons.  For this program, an Eligible New Participant is defined as someone who is neither currently enrolled in any Shinny USA program, nor who has ever before participated in any Shinny USA program or event.  Upon the successful enrollment of an Eligible New Participant and receipt of the new participant's season fee, the referring participant's Shinny USA account balance will be credited $50 for each successful referral.  To make a referral, simply complete the Shinny Referral Form located in the Resources section. 

The following Restrictions apply:

• All referrals must be submitted using the Shinny Referral Form.
• Only current participants whose accounts are in good standing are eligible for the Referral Reward.
• An Eligible New Participant is defined as someone who is neither currently enrolled in any Shinny USA program, nor who has ever before participated in any Shinny USA program or event.
• Rewards may be applied to any Shinny USA program (exluding the Independence Cup Classic) or Shinny USA merchandise purchase.
• Rewards may not be redeemed for cash.
• Rewards may not be transferred to any other participant.
• Referrals may not be retro-active. 
• If an Eligible New Participant is referred by more than one current participant, only the first Referral Form received will be deemed valid.
• There is no limit on the number of participants that can be referred.

The winter 2012 season is coming to a close, with the last date being Saturday, March 31st.  Please reply to the spring season announcement email to reserve your spot in the spring season. 

Becoming a member of ShinnyUSA™ is easy and best of all, there are no long-term obligations. Each season is an open enrollment program. However, due to the popularity of the program there can be a waiting list to skate on the more popular days. The management of ShinnyUSA™ will work with you to look for every opportunity to get you on the ice. It is common for individuals who have requested a membership to be invited out to skate even prior to their official start date. So be ready, you will likely get the call to lace 'em up and hit the ice.
